The Transfer of Knowledge for the improvement of Energy Efficiency and Intelligent Power Systems project – CRESC-INTEL, part of which Smartech Automation SRL has formed a partnership „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați with the purpose of developing and implementing it, within the Operational Competitivety Program 2014-2020, Priority Axis 1 – Research, Technological Development and Innovation (RDI) in supporting Economical Competitivity and Business Development, Partnerships for the Transfer of Knowledge.
Project start date: 01.09.2016.
Time of implementation: 60 months.
The project is part of the Program which is cofinanced by the European Fund of Regional Development „Investments for your future”. The project has as a purpose the transfer of knowledge and expertise within the domain „Increasing energy efficiency for generating, transportation and consumer distribution.”
The general objective of the project is represented by the increase of technical knowledge transfer and RDI competent personell between the „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați and enterprises which develop businesses within the electrical energy field with results as demanded by the market. The projects aims at building partnerships between the „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați and enterprises interested in obtaining the knowledge, abilities and competencies regarding the increase of energy efficiency and intelligent power systems with the purpose of obtaining a technically and economically competitive solution for an intelligent Active Power Filter system (APF).
In order to reach the necessary conditions for interactions between University and the business environment, the project follows to achieve the following specific objectives:
Specific Objective 1: The transfer of knowledge regarding the increase of energy efficiency and intelligent power systems between the „Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați and interested enterprises, transfer done through direct assistance, the organization of thematic events and organization of individual meetings with the interested businesses,
Specific Objective 2: The stimulation of interested enterprises’ access to the University’s facilities, installations and equipment, with the purpose of analyzing, testing and experimenting in developing the industrial prototype of the Active Power Filter (APF).
Specific Objective 3: The engagement in the activities of industrial research and experimental development of the University alongside 4 enterprises with the purpose of developing a technically and economically competitive solution for an intelligent Active Power Filter system (APF).
Through its objectives, the Transfer of Knowledge for the improvement of Energy Efficiency and Intelligent Power Systems project aligns itself with the Priority Axis 1, 1.4 OSI.4 specific objective, The increase of knowledge, technology and RDI competent personell between the public research environment towards the private P.O.C. environment.
The results of the research activities within the project will be transferred towards the enterprises’ activities, thus developing their capacity for innovation through the development of a technically and economically competitive solution for an intelligent Active Power Filter system (APF).
